To access the Elastix web interface:
1. Type http://$IP in your preferred web browser.
* $IP is meant to stand for the IP address of your web server.
2. Use admin as the login name in the Name field.
3. Enter the admin password into the Password field. The password is palosanto
4. Click Submit.
Under the System tab choose User Management and click Users on the left hand side. Click on admin user in the ‘User List’ and then press Edit and change the password there.
Please note this doesn’t change the free PBX password only the Elastix admin password.
Elastix version is: 2.0.0-32
Asterisk version is: 1.6.2.10-1
HylaFAX version is: 4.3.9-0
Openfire version is: 3.5.1-3
Postfix version is: 2.3.3-2.1
The distributive: CentOS release 5.5 (Final)
Run /usr/sbin/faxsetup for that.
This is missing the Unembedded freePBX password.
I think it would be a good idea to publish how to change FreePBX password as it is enabled by default and the password is way too simple, just changing the Elastix admin password is not enough since it is not needed to get into FreePBX.
